This isn’t particularly helpful for a blog owner as he cannot respond to what his readers are saying or ask for additional comments at that time. Adding a comment box on your homepage might help you in interacting with your readers as well as raising your comment count!

Your website is the hub for all your content marketing efforts. You need to make it easy for users to access all your content and know how to connect with you. I disagree with the importance of her being so prolific for the first year or two of blogging. I think being consistent and posting regularly is better than quick bursts of frequency. If you want earn good money from your blog, you need to write a lot of promotional posts. You also need to promote these posts using different methods (social media, paid advertising, etc.). But I don't recommend this. Promotional posts are boring and not useful for readers. If you write informative and helpful posts, your readers will like you and send you the referral traffic and sales.

As a blogger, what you mustn’t do, and probably have done at one point or another, is write difficult-to-read promotional posts. It’s okay to be unethical and incentivize your readers to subscribe to your newsletter and then share a link to that post on their social media accounts, with the claim of being rewarded something special.
