There are a lot of good blogs related to SEO and content on Googles Official forums.

1. The google webmaster forums have a lot of good content on SEO and Google searches

The google webmaster forums have a lot of good content on SEO and Google searches. It can be hard to find what you are looking for because only really active users are watching the forum. The trick is using Google Zeitgeist.

The Google Webmaster forums have a lot of good content on SEO and Google searches. The site includes a forum about getting found, improving your site, and communicating with Google.

I know, I know – Google Webmaster forums are like a bad neighborhood but the thing is, there’s some really good information about search engine optimization on there. You can get a lot of gems by just reading through recent topics and seeing how others handle questions from Google pertaining to SEO.

If you’re looking for help to optimize your website and build a better one, the Google Webmaster forums are one of the best places to get free advice. The forums are frequented by both actual Google employees as well as regular users who seem like they know what they’re talking about.

The most helpful thing I found in Google Webmaster forums are the hints from SEOs sharing their experience via screenshots. I remember when I set up my website for the first time, and had more questions than answers about search engine optimization.

2. Here is a link to the Official Google Search Engine Optimization forums.

Feel free to join the Official Google Search Engine Optimization forums if you want to get your question answered by real Google employees/experts.

If you want to learn exactly how Google gathers and displays search results, you’ve come to the right place. This platform provides a secure blog system for posting articles about any topics relating to search engine optimization so that forum members can share their ideas, comments and questions.

Have you ever wondered whether Google had a community forum dedicated to SEO? If you have ever done any research regarding what is going on within the realm of the biggest search engine in the world, you’ve probably stumbled upon the official Google forum. It’s a great place for questions, applications and (yes!) even career opportunities with Google! Seriously!

I wanted to share with you a useful resource that's very popular in the SEO world. The forum at Google Webmaster Tools is the official place where Webmasters go to get help from Google...and it's a great place for SEOs to go for research and support as well.

3. Here is a link to the Official Google Webmaster Central Blog.

Each month, I try to write a post specifically for webmasters and SEOs that gets published on the Official Google Webmaster Central Blog . This past year, I wrote 11 articles (averaging one every two weeks). Posts include everything from technical recommendations, searcher behavior research and of course the highly anticipated Penguin 4.0: Penguin Recovery tools & tips article that helped hundreds if not thousands of businesses finally stop worrying about losing their rankings due to Penguin or start their recovery efforts.

The official Google blog is a treasure trove of news, tips, and information for anyone who uses Google's services. It is home to the authors behind the Webmaster Central blog , and includes posts from their individual blogs.

Every month, the Google Webmaster Central team shares how-to articles, product updates and interesting stories on their blog . This is the place to go for answers to all your technical questions about web search and our products.

A podcast covering the latest in SEO trends, search engine news, and popular tools and advice. Covering technical SEO factors like headings, duplicate content, international targeting, redirects and a lot more!

4. There are a lot of resources out there for improving your SEO

There are a lot of great resources out there for improving your SEO. You’ve probably already heard about some of these from your friends, co-workers and/or boss. But I wanted to write this guide because there’s some information that you should not be missing out on.

In the SEO community, there’s no lack of resources for improving your SEO. E-books, forums, blogs and podcasts are just a few places where you can go for information and advice.

When I first started learning SEO there were not many resources. I mean, sure, there was Google and Bing but aside from that your options were limited. Luckily today there are a lot of great blogs and tools devoted to helping you understand SEO.

If you’re in the early stages of starting out with SEO, it can be hard to know where to begin. There are a lot of guides about SEO that are overwhelming and take forever to read, or are a bit outdated. That’s why I have put together a list of resources that I wish I had when I started out. Hopefully you find these resources helpful too! These tutorials will help you start your SEO adventure off on the right foot.

If you've found this article, then there is a good chance that you feel overwhelmed by all of the information out there about SEO. You feel like everybody else has the magic formula for SEO and that nobody is revealing it to you. First I want to give you a big hug, because I know what it's like.

How do you promote your blog posts for maximum reach?

5 Ways to Promote Your Blog Post for Maximum Reach

1. Create social media images for each post you write.

You may think this isn’t the most important thing to squeeze into the top of your already-full blogging schedule, but trust me: Investing just a few minutes creating social media images for each new post you write will pay off immensely in the long run.

It’s simple, stupid! I know, you’re probably tempted to just post the blog you worked so hard on straight to your social media accounts… and then it will magically become more popular. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work like that. When you create images for each of your blog posts, you have something that is instantly shareable. By creating customized images for each social media channel you are going to improve traffic and engagement.

One thing I really miss when I write a post is creating images for social media. I like to create a custom image for my blog posts. When I do this, it takes me back to writing the post. It is almost like the act of making an image helps my writing process. It helps me remember what I wanted to say and how I wanted to say it. It makes it easier for me to create my next post because I don’t have to remember everything about the previous post again. This also gets me in the habit of posting on social media more frequently because I don’t need to spend time creating an image- I just grab one from an old post and modify it slightly so that people know the new post is out.

2. Share your content on social media multiple times.

Whether it's Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin, don't be afraid to share your post multiple times. That way you're linking back to your own website as well as spreading the word of your blog post.

Once you have published your most engaging content, you should share it on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ multiple times. I recommend scheduling a few posts a few days in advance so that your audience can see your content each time they visit your social media pages.

It may seem obvious that you should share your content on social media, but not everyone does it. Posting content to multiple profiles brings in additional awareness for your company or website. Not only will it drive traffic to your blog or website, but it also says something about your brand.

Whenever I create content, I post it to as many channels as possible and share it with as many people as possible. In times of shortage, share is the king. Why only post your content to one source when you can publish the same article on 10+ different platforms?

3. Schedule automated shares for more reach.

Auto-shares can help you get your content in front of more people and drive more pageviews to your website. But most of the time it's a hassle because you have to log into Facebook/Twitter/Google+ all the time and post manually. That's why I use Mass Planner to schedule my auto-shares so I don't forget when I publish a new blog post.

Have you ever wished that your social media posts would have reached more people? With automation, you can schedule your posts to be shared on different networks so that you are reaching out to the largest audience possible.

Did you know that you can schedule shares for your blog posts? It’s one of the features that I use from Hootsuite which really helps increase my audience reach. But you should always write a quick tweet when scheduling social media messages.

Did you know that you can schedule shares to your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ pages? The feature is so easy to use and can boost the reach of your company's social media presence by adding a new level of consistency.

4. Include a call-to-action in your post.

What do you want us to do after we read your post? Do you want us to click onto a page in your website or do you want us to get in touch with you so you can solve our problems? Here are examples of calls-to-action.

Now we come to the most important part, the call-to-action. Your call-to-action can be as simple as telling your readers to leave a comment. However you want your readers to take appropriate action based on what they have just read. Here are some examples of different call-to-actions and when to use them:

At the bottom of this article I have a call-to-action which encourages people to download my free SEO eBook. Have you ever wondered why do blog pros do that? I am going to tell you. So, sit back and relax.

A call-to-action is a request for an action. It’s a ‘hot button’ that prompts someone to take some action. It’s used in advertising and marketing as a tool to direct consumer behavior. Back in school, we had pages with logos on them where we could write text. We also had “free space” pretty much everywhere else. I always put the logo on the top left and the call-to-action at the bottom right. We may not have been learning how to write effective copy, but it was enough for me to remember the formula for simple calls-to-action for life (and at least now I know the formula for writing effective blog posts).

5. Build your blog mailing list.

Building a blog mailing list is one of the most underrated parts of creating a successful blog. You will want to build an email list because it allows you to:

Your blog needs its very own email list. It should be the first email list you build. Email marketing is one of the most effective ways to market a blog.

Something you should always start with when you're going to build a blog is building your mailing list and start using autoresponders. The reason for this is simple, if someone likes what they read on your site, they can sign up so that they'll get the latest content directly to their inbox.

It’s time to grow your list! With a mailing list you’re in control of when you send out and update your content, your outreach, and it gives you that extra boost in traffic. In today’s guide we will take a look at the best platforms to grow your blog following and create that list. As they say, the money’s in the list!

How to submit my blog on Google Search console?

How to submit my blog on Google Search console?

1. Sign in to Search Console.

First things first, you need to sign into Search Console. If you don’t have an account - open one. It’s free and it will take you less than a minute. Don’t skip the whole article hoping it will be easier, just follow my advice! We are going to make your life easier and save your time.

If you're manufacturing, billing or shipping products, Search Console is a free tool from Google that you should be using. Search Console is a one-stop shop for everything related to your Google Products feeds.

The first step would be to get familiar with Search Console. It should be the place where you identify on site issues as early as possible. Go through the first two sections starting with "Crawl" and then click on "Search Traffic."

Search Console is a free web tool created by Google that allows webmasters to check indexing status, optimize crawl performance, and view vital site data. Recently, Google released several new features in Search Console: the ability to export data, the ability to filter issues by type, and more detailed search traffic reports. Some of these features are already available but many will roll out during the next few weeks!

Sign in to your Google Search Console account. You can access this account under the ‘Search Appearance’ section of your Webmaster Tools.

2. Update your robots.txt file to allow Googlebot to crawl the content on your site.

You can test out the way that Google crawls your site by editing your robots.txt file. If you want to make sure that content is crawling, be sure to cancel the request, as your website will then show a 404 error. If you want to prevent specific URLs from being crawled, then you'll need to use the files directory within your robots.txt file. Note: not all URL parameters will work with this technique, so we recommend using Fetch as Google for more thorough testing.

The robots.txt file is the "bible" for telling search engines which pages should be indexed and which shouldn't. Most commonly, a site's robots.txt will be set up to disallow search engines from indexing any pages, to allow them to index everything or anything in between. Googlebot is the primary crawler used by Google Search, as well as other search engines, including Bing, Yahoo! and Yandex. The goal of this article is to discuss how you can improve your site's crawl rate by properly configuring your robots.txt file and following standard guidelines when it comes to:

If you’ve recently moved your site from one hosting provider to another, or (God forbid) changed any of the URLs on your site, Google may not be able to crawl your content properly. Your robots.txt file serves as a map for search engines to follow when crawling your site. If that map is incorrect, then neither Google nor any other search engine will be able to crawl any content that lives off of your root domain (e.g., http://www.websiteexample.com). Many sites accidentally block their own internal pages with the robots.txt file, leaving Google unable to properly index these important pages, and thus hurting their overall SEO performance in the process.

3. Submit a sitemap.

One of the first things you’ll see when submitting a new website to Google is a message to submit a sitemap. This is important because Google uses this file to crawl your site and index its content. There are a few reasons why you should submit a sitemap, along with some tips on properly submitting one.

A sitemap is a file made of XML code which helps search engines index your website. For example, if you write an article about digital marketing and want to submit it to DZone then you need to let DZone know about that article. In order for the submitted article to get approved, the author needs to add the sitemap. DZone uses a sitemap to review content from blogs and websites before making them live on its website.

It’s important to submit a sitemap to Google because it communicates your site structure and organization to Google, thereby allowing us to crawl sites more effectively.

Hey, it's Guy from Page One Power. One of the most important SEO strategies you can use is submitting a sitemap to Google. If you're like most people I talk to, you probably hear the word sitemap and think, "What the heck is that?" or "I've never even heard of a sitemap". The good news is once you learn how to create a sitemap that Google likes, this is actually one of the easiest tasks in the entire world. In fact, it takes just two minutes. If your site is complex enough that you need more than one sitemap, then it will take longer (mine take approximately 10-15 minutes per site).

4. Submit URLs to Google with Fetch as Google.

There are certain steps you have to follow when submitting URLs to the Google crawl team. Fetch as Google is a Google tool that shows you what those URLs will look like when submitted and indexed. It’s an essential part of the URL submission process, so make sure to use it!

Fetch as Google is one of my favorite tools. You can submit up to 500 URLs per day. There are several reasons why I use Fetch as Google. The list below describes a few:

Hooray for Google. They help us make our SEO easier and don’t ask for much in return…except maybe a few URLs. But that’s why you are here right now, right? You want to be a good SEO and would love to help Google with their troubles. Download a list of un-Googleable URLs and start submitting them using the fetch as Google tool.

A great way to get your site indexed is by submitting it via Google's Fetch as Google tool (it used to be called Webmaster tools). It's easy and can help speed up the indexing of your new site. Here's a quick tutorial on how it works.

5. To submit my blog on the Google Search console I should read the tutorial carefully.

If you want to submit your blog on the Google Search console, then you must read this carefully and follow the instructions.

The process of submitting your blog to the Google search console is not a difficult, but you need to read the instructions carefully. Select all categories in which you want to get rated , copy and paste the code into your web page, sign up for an account in Google Analytics, specify the category for your site and then fill out the form .

When you sign up for a Google Account, you also have the option of signing up to submit your website to Google. This is called the Google Search Console and allows you to keep track of your website’s name and domain, view traffic reports, and follow your site's status and any errors that might occur. To submit a website to the search console, you need...

Bear in mind that each and every tutorial has a unique ID, so be sure to copy this ID before you hit the button “DONE”. You’ll also have to add a title of your own, as well as specify whether this is a brand new blog or an existing one. For business websites, you should use the website URL.

How to Rank Blogger Websites on Google?

1. Get more people to your blog via social media

One of the most critical aspects of making money with blogs is getting traffic to your site. Getting traffic requires promoting your blog on social media sites, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest. One company that provides tremendous value for bloggers is Buddy Media. Buddy Media helps you get more people to your blog via social media. This includes:

You need to promote your blog posts, so you thought “I’ll just share it on social media”. Great, that’s a great way to get more eyeballs on your blog posts. However, you can do better. The most common question of my blog is “How do I get more people to my blog?”. This is often hard for bloggers because we don’t want to annoy everyone with our message. But the truth is, we need to attack this problem directly.

There are a number of social media tasks you should be doing to get more people to read and share your blog post. If you're wondering how to promote your posts on social media, the tips below will help you get the most out of all the major networks.

You may have written a solid blog post, but how many people are going to read it? Would 50,000 or even 500,000 reach views be enough for you?

2. Get bloggers in your niche to link to you

You want links in your niche, I know - who doesn't? A lot of SEOs try and get links from social media. Some of that works, but it's going to take a long time. Why not focus on getting posts from popular bloggers in your niche to link to you? Getting bloggers to write about you is the most reliable way to get those authority links you want.

Looking to add more links to your website? Not a problem. Both inbound and outbound links can help you rank better in the search engines. If you aren’t getting any links to your site, then it is time to start building relationships with bloggers in your niche. Getting a link from a relevant blog will likely increase your search engine rankings and go a long way towards growing your business.

You’ve been following a lot of people and you think that you should also introduce yourself by leaving a comment on their blogs. You feel this is customary and is something you must do. Yes, it is polite to leave  a comment on blogs related to your niche. But, there is an art to leaving comments. You can get people to check out your blog and bookmark you. Bloggers like when their readers interact with them by leaving comments on their website. The harder task is getting the blogger to not just read but read, understand and then link to your blog.

3. Invest time in SEO

You’re rushing around — traffic is up, leads are good, and sales…well, they haven’t clicked the ‘buy’ button yet. What’s the problem? Boring content. You know it. Your customers know it. Google knows it. There’s a terrible black hole in your blog post about white washing your storm door (which of course IS an essential DIY project). You need to invest time in SEO if you want to keep your customers happy.

SEO is not difficult. But it does require that you spend some time to learn about the best practices for your website. Once you learn the basics, you'll just need to put in the work for a few hours each month to achieve considerable results.

Growth hacking is a marketing strategy that became popular in 2011 because of its effectiveness to gain rapid growth. Web applications like Airbnb and Hotmail were built from the ground up with SEO in mind. In order to be close to our customers, we decided to apply the growth hacking process to Mailjet, which helped us rank on the first page of Google (Top 3) in less than 3 months.

4. There are easy things you can do to boost your blog's ranking on Google.

There are a lot of ways to improve your blog and get it ranked higher in Google. Sure, some tactics are more complicated than others, but they will yield the best results. This guide is all about the easiest things you can do to rank better on Google. https://upscri.be/067b8e2

People often ask me the same old question, “How do I boost my blog’s ranking on Google?”. People are confused about how to get their site to rank higher in search results by themselves, especially when there are search engine optimization experts and companies claiming that they can do it for you easily.

Do you have a blog? Do you want to give it a little boost? I know I do. And, when we work hard to create content on our blogs, we want them to be found by others. Whether that is because they're looking for solution to their problems, or simply seeking entertainment. Whatever the reason is, we want it to be read and seen.

Hi, my name is Nathan Turner. I run a blog called Blog Tyrant that has been focusing on WordPress tips and tricks for the last 3 years. I also write a lot of posts on SEO. One thing I've noticed is that there's a HUGE lack of information about "what you can do to get your blog ranking in Google". There are thousands of books, tutorials and guides written about how to get traffic from Google, but not very many that explain why you should be doing these things (instead of the usual "do X" generic advice). I personally believe this is because people who know a lot about SEO don't want to give away their best tips or tell people how to game the system (because they're worried about Google penalizing them for doing so).

WordPress is the world’s most popular content management system. It’s used by millions of people (including me) to author their own blog or website. But, did you know that WordPress isn’t just for blogging? Innumerable sites are now using WordPress as a social media platform. The success of social networks like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest really show how much people love to share on social sites. This means there is a huge opportunity for you to create your own website or blog that too many social sites like Instagram, Tumblr and Facebook from day one! This post explains how you can instantly start creating content for:

2. Guest Blogging - Great Free Traffic!

Guest bloggers are some of the most phenomenal sources for free traffic, whether you're a blogger yourself or not. There's a lot of ways to increase your blog traffic via guest blogging, but today I'm only gonna focus on the one that seems to be the most advantageous. We'll discuss why guest blogging works so well, what type of content goes viral, and where you can get started with your own guest blogging campaign.

I’ve been doing a lot of guest blogging lately, and so far it’s been great! I can't think of a better way to get traffic to my sites, especially the new site I just started. Guest blogging is where you send your content to bigger, more popular websites and they post it on their website. The great thing about guest blogging is that some big sites have millions of visitors a month, so sending them one article could result in thousands of visitors to your site. I’ve been able to get a few good links from posting on bigger sites as well.

3. Blog Commenting - One Of The Best Free Traffic Sources

Have you heard of "blog commenting as a marketing strategy"? It means writing/posting comments about your business, products and services in blog posts. You can also use this strategy to improve search engine rankings of your website. Blog Commenting is one of the best free traffic sources!

As an online entrepreneur, you know how important it is to attract free traffic to your website. There are many different ways to get free hits, but most of them are easy and require little effort. One of the easiest way to get free visitors on your site is through blog commenting. I’m going to show you how to:

4. Blog Directory & Social Bookmarking To Get Visitors To Your Blog

If you are active on social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter then that is a great start. However, there are millions of sites that are vying for attention on the web, which means there is increased competition for fans’ attention. With this in mind, it is always a good idea to increase your chances of being found, by creating a profile on blogs and bookmarking sites. Here I will list the best blog directories and social bookmarking websites to get more visitors to your blog.

The best way is to be active on social bookmarking and blog directories. The reason is that more than 2000 search engines, directories and blogs have their links pointing to your website. Search engines like Google love fresh content – material that was published just recently. This is also true for blogs or bookmarks.

5. Create A Viral Buzz On Your Blog With Share Buttons

Have you ever wondered where visitors share your content? It could be on their Facebook feed, Twitter, LinkedIn or any number of platforms right? Wouldn’t it be cool if you knew who shared your content and what they said about your product or service? Most blogs are still missing some very vital pieces in this equation… Share buttons.

You've probably heard that one of the 8 vital ingredients for creating a thriving blog is by sharing your content. So how do you go about it? The easy way is to install a Wordpress plugin on your site such as AddThis. But it doesn't stop there, you need to optimize your share buttons.

Are you creating content on your blog but struggling to attract new readers? If that's the case, you ought to consider placing share buttons (or share this button) on your blog. Click to Tweet is probably the most popular social media sharing tool for bloggers because it’s super effective at getting more people to read your tweets, and that means more traffic to your blog too.

6. Add Video To Your Blog For Free Traffic. Really!

It seems that everywhere you look online, the only thing people are talking about is video marketing. So I decided to delve into the subject and find out how you make money from it. Within this article, I'll show you two different ways to use video for generating more traffic for your website - including a technique you can use for almost completely free .

If you have been struggling with getting new visitors to your blog, try embedding a simple video! According to research done by HubSpot, blogs with embedded videos get an average of 67% more views per post. If you start getting traffic from people watching your videos, you will generate a few different types of organic traffic to your website. An example of this is Google video search or even Bing video search. These sites are drawing video viewers through demographic targeting and keyword targeting resulting in very targeted organic traffic to your blog. Visitors are coming directly because they know what they want — a video!

7. Business Cards To Drive Visitors To Your Blog. Seriously? Yes!

A great way to get visitors to your blog is to hand out business cards – that’s the old school way of driving traffic from offline sources. But how will you be ready when people ask for one? In this article, I will share with you a template you can use to design business cards that drives visitors back to your blog.

Are you using business cards to drive visitors to your blog? If you are not currently, you may want to try it and see how it works for you. I know this sounds a bit unconventional, but hear me out. There’s a lot of benefits that come with handing out physical business cards. The biggest one? You get more visitors to your blog!

I am not a sales person, so the idea of handing out business cards to people who lack interest in my site is an awkward thought. And yet, I've found that handing out these cards can drive more traffic to a blog than anything else out there. Over the past few months, I have held some business card giveaways and promoted them on Twitter and Facebook. The results have been pretty predictable: people love free stuff, and sharing it with their friends. This led to a significant increase in traffic and subscribers to my blog.
